These terms are an agreement between you and Norwich Website Design Ltd, trading as Learn to Speak Easy (“Learn to Speak Easy”, “we”, “us”), for your use of our app, wherever you use it. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
The service
Learn to Speak Easy helps you practise impromptu speaking. It gives you a prompt, a two-minute timer, a recording of your answer and AI feedback on your delivery. It’s a practice tool, not professional coaching or advice.
Your account
- Use a valid email address and keep access to it secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person. Don’t share access or impersonate anyone.
- You must be at least 16 to use the app.
Free, Pro and your free week
The free plan lets you practise one prompt a day, with headline feedback on each answer. Pro gives you unlimited prompts and full AI coaching, together with the other Pro features described in the app when you subscribe. On the web, Pro costs £6.99 a month or £49.99 a year in the UK, €7.99 or €54.99 in euros, both including VAT, and $7.99 or $54.99 in US dollars, plus sales tax where it applies. Anywhere else, checkout shows the price in your own currency, with any local tax, before you pay. Prices in the App Store and Google Play are shown before you buy and can differ slightly.
Every new account starts with 7 days of Pro, free. You don’t need to give any payment details and we won’t charge you anything: when the 7 days end, your account simply moves to the free plan unless you choose to subscribe.
We may change the free plan or our prices. If we change the price of your subscription, we’ll tell you before the new price applies, and you can cancel before then.
Subscriptions and billing
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel.
- If you subscribed on the web, you can cancel at any time in Settings, or through Onelink (see below). If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel in your device’s subscription settings. Deleting the app, or your account, does not cancel a subscription bought through an app store.
- When you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for. We don’t refund unused time, except where the law requires it.
- Web subscriptions are sold through Onelink, a Stripe service that acts as the reseller and merchant of record. Onelink takes your payment, charges any sales tax, VAT or GST due where you live, and sends your receipts, and its own terms apply to the payment. Your bank statement shows LINK.COM. App store payments are processed by Apple or Google under their own terms.
Your right to cancel
If you subscribe on the web, you have 14 days to change your mind under UK consumer law. Because Pro starts straight away at your request, if you cancel within those 14 days we’ll refund you, less a fair amount for the time you’ve already used. To do this, cancel in Settings and email hello@learntospeakeasy.com, or ask Onelink support. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are refunded under Apple’s or Google’s policies. None of this affects your other statutory rights, and if something has gone wrong, email us and we’ll do our best to put it right.
Your content
Your recordings and transcripts are yours. You give us a limited permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you (playback, transcription and feedback), as our Privacy Policy explains. We don’t use them to train AI models.
Acceptable use
- Don’t use the app for anything unlawful, harmful or abusive.
- Don’t record content that is illegal or that infringes anyone’s rights.
- Don’t try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or to get around its limits.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
AI feedback
Feedback is generated automatically and is meant as helpful practice guidance. It can be imperfect, and it isn’t a substitute for professional advice. Use your own judgement.
Availability
We work hard to keep the app running well, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors, and features may change. We may update or withdraw parts of the service.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we’re not responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable, or for business losses, since the app is for personal use. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
App stores
If you downloaded Learn to Speak Easy from the App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply to your use of it. Apple and Google are not responsible for Learn to Speak Easy or for these terms.
Ending your use
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you in advance by email or in the app. If you keep using the app after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply.
